2018 ushered in a new chapter for three monastic buildings on the CSB campus. In May, the Guy and Barbara Schoenecker Commons opened its doors, transforming the Caedmon, St. Wendelin and Artisan Studio buildings into a new 22,500 square-foot space for an Admission Welcome Center and administrative offices.
The new Welcome Center serves as the “front door” of campus for the nearly 4,000 potential future Bennies and Johnnies who visit each year.
The new administrative office space houses CSB Institutional Advancement, the CSB Business Office, CSB/SJU Human Resources and the CSB/SJU Office of Marketing & Communication. The relocation of administrative offices also frees up room in the Main Building for a more cohesive and updated academic space.
